On behalf of the band, I would like to take a moment to thank everyone that came out to the benefit show this past Saturday. The support shown was amazing in all respects. We have to also thank our good friend Eric Flores who astonishingly filled in on the drums at the show after only 3 rehersals. From what I've heard our set rocked as hard as everyone has come to expect from us. It was equally deeply touching at moments, from our opening song, a mellowed-out cover of Bob Dylan's "Mr. Tambourine Man," to closing the set with the first song we wrote for the band, "Behind," to our encore performance of "Burning Bridges." Everyone in the band had tears in our eyes, as did many of our closest friends in the crowd. We could feel Kasey's prescence with us throughout the performance. It truly was a moving, once in a lifetime experience.

It has been an amazing 4 years and we thank everyone who is reading this for being a part of it. As I hope you can understand given the circumstances, I have to announce that Evasic will be taking time off as band. Music has been a part of each of our lives as long as we have known each other; Infact, music is what brought us all together to begin with. Rest assured that Kasey would not want us to end this band because of him. Just what or when exactly we will be doing anything further hasn't been considered yet.

Again, whoever reads this, thank you. Thank you for being a fan, a friend, a reason for us to be a band in the first place. Thank you for being part of an amazing journey, which as Kasey would say has been "fair enough."
